Created by a teacher in Sydney, Australia for teachers everywhere.
The mission is to support teachers do great work helping their students without having to be coders or developers but achieving results that coders and developers would be proud of. Imbued with great pedagogy and great design, with class leading ease of use.
From columnar layouts, lists, panels, videos, images, educational interactions, multiple choice, literacy interactions, sorting, short answer, cloze passage and more. Over 100 content types can be rapidly created and deployed.
All learning management systems can be setup to allow embeds from EduEmbed.com. For Canvas users, this is done by an administrator allowing iframes from EduEmbed.com and then just inserting the iframe code in the rich text editor.
What this means is that teachers can use the wide variety of EduEmbed widgets for content and student interactions by rapidly creating the content in EduEmbed and then merely copying and pasting the embed code into the rich text editor in Canvas or whatever LMS. Couldn't be easier.
If you don't want to use iframes, you can simply have a hyperlink in your LMS to the EduEmbed widget page which will then show that content as a standalone page for your learners.
Want to have a heading, good looking content with a three column layout, a quiz, a literacy exercise and flashcards all in your ONE embed. No problem, Why would you want to do it any other way? EduEmbed lets you include as many or as few elements in your embedded content - and you can create an unlimited number of embeds.
A single click creates the content widgets and online course navigational wrapper for an online elearning course - just complete the content in the widgets which are one per page of the course and viola, an instant, quality, navigable online course you can include as a hyperlink anywhere in your digital universe. This is not about SCORM tracking, or assessments for your students which are well handled in LMS systems - this is about the formative stuff where the real learning happens. Content, teaching, learning and practice.
